How print on demand works

Nothing on this site is pre-printed. When you order, the design is printed on the garment you chose and then shipped. That is why the catalogue can hold 97 designs without anything selling out, and why delivery takes a little longer than warehouse retail.

Who prints your order

Gridiron Locker is the storefront and the design library. Printing, fulfilment and checkout are handled by a print-on-demand partner, and the partner that prints a design is named on that design's product page. Which partner handles an order depends on the design, so production speed, shipping rate and return terms are the partner's, not a single sitewide promise.

Production time

Production and delivery times vary by product and fulfilment partner. Most orders print within a few business days of being placed; the current estimate for a specific design is shown at checkout. Where a design is part of a larger print run that closes on a set date, that is shown on the product page for that design.

Delivery

Worldwide shipping is available. Domestic US orders typically arrive fastest; international orders vary by destination and customs. Tracking is issued when the parcel is dispatched. The exact rate and delivery estimate for your address are calculated at checkout - final product price, shipping and applicable taxes are confirmed there.

Returns, exchanges and misprints

Because each item is made to order, returns are handled by the fulfilment partner that printed it, under the return policy that partner shows at checkout. If an item arrives misprinted, damaged, or the wrong size was sent, contact support with a photo and your order number and we will raise it with the partner for you.

Wrong size ordered?

Check the size guide before ordering - it is the single biggest cause of avoidable exchanges. If you are between sizes, go up.
